Vaso de Oro

I'm all a-glow, long after the shine of alcohol has evaporated into a humid summer sky.

Snorkeling Round Cap Tossa

At the end of the Book Of Job, G-d delivers a stern lesson, asking the impertinent yet pious Job:
Have you journeyed to the vents of the sea or walked in the trenches of the deep?
Have the gates of death been revealed to you?
Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?
Have you surveyed the extent of the earth?
Tell Me, if you know all this

I had steamed the West and South Pacific, ventured into the Indian Ocean, sampled only a portion of the Mediterranean. There is so much more to see, than I will ever get a chance to experience. I have only seen the sea up close for a few meters deep, and there... there are a multitude of wonders within it. I barely understand what I have seen, of what little I can see, even when it is right in front of me.

Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me to know.
